BrightBridge Capital is a nonprofit economic development organization. Since 1981, we have collaborated with banks to provide financing for businesses and projects that create quality jobs, affordable and workforce housing, impactful community results, and opportunities in the areas that need them most.
Our team works with commercial lenders through programs like our CDFI Loan Fund, SBA’s 504 loan program, and New Markets Tax Credits. We structure capital that links public good with private enterprise. Our goal is to help banks deploy responsible commercial debt capital, improve financial results, support CRA compliance, and gain positive visibility in their marketplace.
As a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), we work with commercial lenders to help their clients access capital when traditional loans aren't an option. Through these partnerships, lenders can refer projects we might fund directly, together with the bank, or by investing in our program with loans that may earn Community Reinvestment Act credits or other investment incentives. The client relationship always stays with the bank.
