Executive Bio for Dheeraj "Raj" Singal of FINBOA

Dheeraj “Raj” Singal is the CEO and founder of FINBOA, a leading innovator in digital process automation and regulatory compliance for financial institutions. Singal is a purpose-driven leader who is passionate about solving problems and delivering measurable results through RPA. He believes in providing the best value to his customers, partners and colleagues through mutual trust, authenticity and transparency. Singal provides strategic guidance while actively working to grow the business and develop new SaaS offerings. Under his leadership, FINBOA continues to help banks and credit unions accelerate digital transformation to enable growth, improve efficiency, reduce costs and improve customer experience.

Leveraging in-depth knowledge of financial services, FINBOA provides effective RPA solutions for dispute, exception and workflow management – all designed to address the growing compliance challenges facing banks and credit unions. To date, FINBOA serves more than 135 financial institutions nationwide.

With more than 30 years of experience serving financial services and energy sectors, Singal was previously CTO of SURGE Ventures, a seed fund and mentor-driven accelerator that enables entrepreneurs who are solving the world’s energy problems with technology. During his time there, Singal provided technical and strategic mentoring to startups. In addition, Singal is a member of the Houston Angel Network, the oldest angel network in Texas.

Singal received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in computer science from the Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Houston respectively. In addition, Singal received a master’s degree in business administration from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.
